Local Sales Manager Opening

WCOV-TV, Montgomery’s FOX Affiliate, is seeking a Local Sales Manager to lead our local sales staff and maximize revenue.

The right candidate for this position should have the following:
• Three years minimum of television advertising sales management experience.
• Sales experience in multiple markets.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required; working knowledge of WideOrbit traffic system a strong plus.
• Experience with a Fox or other independent affiliate a plus.
• Effective leadership, motivational, and management skills.
• Effective training skills necessary to share knowledge with local sales staff.
• A positive attitude and excellent people skills.
• Creative abilities that help close sales to the benefit of both client and the station.
• Must enjoy working in the field with sales staff and advertisers.
